Abdicate: to leave the position of being a King.

:to renounce a throne, high office, dignity or function.

Let me start this last chapter off making the message very clear:

Black Man, You Are ROYALTY!

As Black People, we are in a horrible condition in everywhere we live in this world. There isn’t one place on Earth where we are living in the manner we were before coming in contact with Caucasians. Even in the Motherland of Africa we’ve been colonized and democratized; we have become everything except what we started as: KINGDOMS! Our fall from our ancestral Empires and our lack of desiring to rebuild them is the key used to keep us the lowest race on Earth.

White supremacy has tricked us and the entire world with their propaganda. They have everyone convinced that the highest office in the world is the president of the United States. A president (even of the USA) is nothing but the head of a corporation; he is not and cannot be someone with absolute authority. A president can’t pass bills on his own, can’t make laws on his own, can’t make any changes he wants to on his own; everything he wants to do has to be approved by Congress and the Senate. How is that the highest position in the world when there are other rulers America labels as dictators and terrorists who have absolute authority over their territory?

So the question becomes why do they want people to believe the highest position you could ever achieve is president of the United States? The answer is quite simple, so Africans in Africa and those scattered abroad (which we are here in the US) will not desire to return to our original state as Kings and have authority over the white men in the world. It’s common sense that a president isn’t higher than a King and they know if African-led Kingdoms rose up they would lose all the power they possess because their power is based on perception.

They create illusions of power, strength and brilliance when the reality is the only thing they’re actually great at is being conniving. America barely produces anything. All the natural resources come from Africa and most technology comes from Africa and Asia. Even though America isn’t the foremost producer of anything, it remains the world’s most powerful country. How is that so? It’s because they promote themselves as such and the power of white supremacist rests on the ignorance of those over whom they assume power.

“The power of white supremacist rest on the ignorance of those over whom they assume power.”

When Africans had power we had Kingdoms. We will never come up from under oppression as long as we’re operating in a system and a mindset that isn’t African. If you want to change the condition of Black People in America and you subscribe to the belief that the president is the highest position in the world, then even if you attain the position you will still have your hands tied by white politicians. This is why we must shift our minds from this western thought of praising a president and conceptualize ourselves as Kings. The fact that we haven’t viewed ourselves as Kings for so many years is the reason we’re stuck in the predicament we’re in.

So I say to you my brother stop abdicating.  Your oppressors have you convinced that you’re everything but what you truly are: ROYALTY. They do not have authority over you but because you have stepped down as the King of your life and relinquished your office and dignity, you are at the mercy of others. They laugh every time they hear Black Men call themselves anything other than a King because they understand we’re giving them power over us every time we do so.

I had a conversation with my cousin Sean that drastically changed my life as it pertains to interactions with other Men. He was telling me about an incident he had with another Black Man in which he continually referred to the Man as King. He said the man told him “My name isn’t King” and he responded “I know that’s not your name but I’m calling what you are.” What makes this man’s readiness to refute being called King so egregious is I don’t believe he would have told him not to call him “Nigga.”

Personally I have been one to say that us using the word niggas is no big deal; we’ve took it and turned it into something that isn’t negative anymore. This is the position many Blacks have taken and I’m still inclined to believe it’s true. However, now I see the picture as something bigger than us debating if using the word is right or wrong. From this broader view, to me the important discussion becomes whether or not you can be a “Nigga” and a “King” at the same time and does calling yourself a Nigga degrade your Kingship?

This change in discussion must happen so we can see how even if we’ve learned to use the word in a somewhat positive way, it still keeps us from seeing ourselves in our true state. I’m not telling you that using the word is wrong, I’m saying your view of yourself, your world and your understanding of the power you possess to change it will be different once you see yourself as royalty. If I asked you which would you rather be, a King or a nigga, which one would you choose?

I believe if this question is asked, the response would be “a King” by every Black Man who was asked.  If my position is true that every Black Man would rather be a King than a nigga, then why do so many of the Men of this beautiful race of ours exclusively identify as niggas and never as Kings? The reason we do this is because the image of our royalty was stripped and beaten away during slavery. Our names were taken, our culture was taken, our history was fabricated and stolen and we were taught that we weren’t even human but were 3/5 of a man. Who we really were was hidden from us in order for white men to gain and retain power over us. Now that the information of who we are is readily available and no longer hidden, white supremacists aren’t keeping us from being Kings, we’re relinquishing our kingdom mindset on our own daily……
